An excellent "Chippy!" I frequently went to this delightful little shoppe whenever business brought me to Clitheroe from the United States. I particularly liked the battered and fried black pudding. Most Americans would Never Ever try it if they new what it was made from. But, with my grandfather being a bit British, I can eat a black (or white) pudding as well as any man!
By the way. There is NO castle in Clitheroe! It's a "Keep" not a castle! -

Excellent friendly service, even if there's a big que (quite often) your never waiting long and all of the menu is quite simply scrumptious.

How can you make chips taste like that?! It's like eating deepfried sex! Love the food here and always try to pop in for fish and chips when in Clitheroe!
